David A. Breach

David Breach is the President of Vista Equity Partners, a leading global investment firm focused exclusively on enterprise software, data, and technology-enabled businesses with over $100 billion in assets under management. David sits on Vista's Executive Committee, the firm's governing and decision-making body, as well as Vista's Private Equity Management and Private Equity Funds' Investment Committees, and serves on the boards of several Vista portfolio companies. He is also Co-Chief Executive Officer of VistaOne, Vista's evergreen private equity vehicle. Since joining Vista in 2014, David has been instrumental in scaling the firm's infrastructure, capital formation, governance, and investment strategies, including the buildout of Vista Credit Partners and Vista’s expansion into the private wealth channel.

Prior to Vista, David was a Senior Corporate Partner at Kirkland & Ellis, where his practice focused on representing private equity funds across all aspects of their business. He was a member of the firm's global executive management committee, a founding partner of its San Francisco office, and was named a Law360 MVP of the Year for private equity in 2013. David earned his undergraduate degree in business from Eastern Michigan University and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School.
