Position: Managing Director, People Experience
Penny DeFrank serves on our executive committee as our Managing Director of People Experience, leading the Talent Acquisition, People Operations and Talent Development teams. She has deep expertise in building and guiding the talent of high-growth tech companies—with a focus on fostering a culture where employees can do their best work. Penny’s former employers were made up of a series of early- to mid-stage, high-growth companies across fintech, cyber security and e-commerce, including Corelight, Marqeta, Monitise, White Hat Security and RichRelevance.
Prior to her career in tech, Penny enjoyed more than 10 years at McKinsey & Company where she led all non-consulting operations across four locations on the west coast. Penny holds a BS in Information Systems Management and a Master’s in Human Resources and Organization Development, both from the University of San Francisco.
