Steven Snyder

Steven "Steve" Snyder brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined Edward Jones in April 2026 as the Senior Product Leader responsible for the Alternative Investment and Separately Managed Account (SMA) investment product groups. Steve's Alternative Investment responsibilities include developing and executing on firm's long-term growth strategy, investment product platform design, product sourcing and onboarding, and key sponsor and vendor relationship management.

Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Helix, a generative AI assistant built for the private markets sector. In this role, Steve led the product roadmap, engineering, marketing, and sales teams, while also overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business. Prior to Helix, Steve was Senior Vice President at LPL Financial, where he headed the Alternative Investments product team. He was responsible for due diligence, product onboarding, revenue growth, and enhancing the end-to-end platform experience for more than 23,000 financial advisors. He also oversaw LPL’s structured products and capital markets teams.

Throughout his tenure at LPL Financial and its predecessor firm Fortigent, Steve held various leadership roles in investment product management, manager due diligence, advisory platform development, and research operations. Earlier in his career, he led manager diligence efforts for a dually registered broker-dealer and investment adviser.

Steve earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science from the University of California, San Diego. He holds multiple FINRA licenses. Steve previously served on the Board of Directors for the Institute for Portfolio Alternatives (IPA).
