Ron Miller

Ron Miller is a proven leader in the alternative investments industry, specializing in scaling private wealth platforms, optimizing capital formation, and driving strategic partnerships between asset managers and intermediaries.

As Managing Director of the Asset Manager Partnerships team at CAIS, the leading alternative investment platform for the independent wealth channel, Ron is responsible for deepening engagement with top alternative asset managers, enhancing product innovation, and aligning distribution strategies to drive growth and efficiency.

Prior to CAIS, Ron spent a decade at Morgan Stanley, where he held multiple leadership roles. As Director of Relationship Management, he oversaw 600 partnerships representing $5 trillion in assets, working closely with the world’s leading asset managers. Previously, as COO of Morgan Stanley’s New England region, he played a key role in launching a new Private Wealth business, leading strategic initiatives for a division of 1,000 Financial Advisors across 50 offices with $1.2 billion in annual revenue. From 2015 to 2020, he Co-Headed Democratized Alternatives and Traditional Investments, spearheading product innovation and sales initiatives.

Ron began his career at The Wharton School where he led the financial services consulting vertical. Ron also spent time in fixed income trading, product management, and practice management at Janney Montgomery Scott.

A recognized industry leader, Ron holds an M.S.Ed. from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from Temple University. He serves on the Board of Eastside House Settlement and is an Ambassador for the Robin Hood Foundation.

Based in Scituate, MA, with his wife Kristi, children Fin and Isabel, and bernedoodle Bodhi; Ron is an avid Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, traveler, and ocean enthusiast.
