CAIS delivers a 3-year organic revenue CAGR of 37%, with the biggest chapter still ahead, says founder and CEO Matt Brown
NEW YORK, NY – July 29, 2026 – CAIS, the leading alternative investment platform for independent financial advisors, today announced a $170 million Series D financing with lead participant Vista Equity Partners, and additional investment from AllianceBernstein L.P. (NYSE: AB), funds managed by Blue Owl Capital (NYSE: OWL), Carlyle (NYSE: CG), Fortress Investment Group, Golub Capital, Lord Abbett, and Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). The investment round values CAIS at over $2 billion, bringing total capital raised to nearly $600 million, and coincides with a 3-year organic revenue CAGR of 37% that reflects the scale and trust CAIS has built across the independent wealth channel.

David Breach, President of Vista Equity Partners, will join the CAIS Board of Directors. Representatives from Blue Owl, Lord Abbett, Fortress, and Carlyle will serve as Board observers.

Record Growth Across the CAIS Platform
The platform today serves over 2,500 wealth management firms, representing more than 65,000 financial advisors who oversee approximately $8.5 trillion in end-client assets.
In the first half of 2026, the platform drove a 53% year-over-year increase in transaction volume, with total platform assets up 55% over the same period. The momentum spans every dimension of the platform.
Since 2025, CAIS has onboarded 425-plus new RIAs and independent broker dealers representing over $1.8 trillion in assets, including AE Wealth Management, AllianceBernstein, Beacon Pointe Advisors, &Partners, and OpenArc.
Transaction volume increased 60% year-over-year among existing wealth firms, including Baird, Wealth Enhancement Group, Mariner, and Edward Jones.

Secondary Market capabilities through LODAS Markets provide platform users the ability to buy or sell certain alternative investment positions, bringing primary and secondary market opportunities together on a single platform for the first time. Equity Syndicate gives wealth firms and their advisors access to select equity IPO opportunities, including the ability to view offering details and submit or revise indications of interest, all through the platform.
The breadth of these capabilities is reflected in advisor satisfaction. CAIS' advisor Net Promoter Score reached a new high of 74, more than double the B2B SaaS industry benchmark of 36.1
AI Powering the Advisor Experience
CAIS is entering the agentic phase of its AI strategy, building intelligent tools across the advisor journey, embedding AI throughout the organization, and scaling its software lifecycle resulting in an 80% year-over-year increase in throughput.

CAIS’ latest investment follows its $50 million 2020 Series B investment by Eldridge, and a $340 million 2022 Series C financing round led by Apollo (NYSE: APO) and Motive Partners (“Motive”), with additional investment from Franklin Templeton (NYSE: BEN), Reverence Capital Partners, and Hamilton Lane, bringing the company’s total capital raised to nearly $600 million.
